Welcome to Tranquillity Elementary

Hello Tiger family,

As we get closer to the beginning of school, I would like to send out some reminders to help parents and guardians prepare for the first day of school. First, be sure to register your students with our site secretary-Mrs. Magallon. Secondly, our Back to School Night will be held on Wednesday, August 7th BEFORE school starts. This is the first time that we have held Back to School Night the week before school begins, but I can assure you that your child's teacher is already preparing for the first day of school. Third, if you are going school shopping for clothing, be sure to send your child to school with clothing that meets the district's dress code. Remember, students need to have a strap behind their heel to allow them to participate in PE and we will have a new PE teacher this year. Also, students are not permitted to wear pants or shorts with holes lower than their palms when their arms are extended to their sides. In addition, straps are to be at least two inches in width for any shirts they may wear. A reminder also that team sports logos on backpacks, shirts, sweatshirts, or hats will not be permitted as well. Thank you for your cooperation in helping your student have a successful start to the school year!

Sincerely,

Mr. Kinnunen
Principal
