Principal's Message

Parents, students, and staff, it is my pleasure to introduce myself as the principal of Tranquillity Elementary School. I am beginning my 14th year as your principal and my 25th year serving the students in Golden Plains Unified School District. I am a product of Golden Plains Unified schools and thoroughly enjoy serving the students on the westside of Fresno County.

The 2024-2025 school year will bring many changes to Tranquillity Elementary School. We have added a new P.E. Teacher-Mr. Engleman. He will bring a lot of joy and physical education to our students. Mrs. Yee has gone from a second grade teacher to our Reading Teacher on Special Assignment. She will be supporting students who need additional support mastering reading foundational skills. We have three special education teachers and continue to serve students with mild to moderate learning disabilities throughout Golden Plains Unified School District.

Whenever you are on campus, all visitors must report and check in and out in the front office. Our obligation is to maintain a sense of safety and provide your child a safe and welcoming environment. We appreciate your cooperation and support on this matter. 

This year, we will have a lot of changes, a lot of fun, and our aim is to provide a terrific environment for your child as they receive an education. If you have any questions regarding Tranquillity Elementary School or want to stop by, I look forward to meeting with you.
